Family & Friends is for anyone who wants to learn CPR, but does not need a course completion card. The course is perfect for: community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, schools and students.

Heartsaver - Choke Safe
The Heartsaver CPR/AED updated 2020 course provides the knowledge and skills to prepare you to help save the life of someone who is in cardiac arrest. Also included is learning how to address and help someone who is choking.
Certification cards are issued to participants who successfully complete the training.
WHO SHOULD TAKE THE COURSE?
Heartsaver courses are intended for anyone who needs or wants a course completion card and is available to anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Also, the Choke Safe element is focused on those who work in eating establishments.
COURSE COVERS:
Recognizing cardiac arrest, getting emergency care quickly
Adult, Child & Infant CPR and AED use
Adult, Child & Infant Choking
Choke Safe certification is a part of the Heartsaver class. When we do this class for eating establishments, participants get to simulate the Abdominal Thrust technique on fellow participants.

Healthcare Provider (Basic Life Support)
WHO SHOULD TAKE THE COURSE?
Healthcare professionals and others who need to have certification in CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills. Participants who successfully complete this training will receive a 2-year certification card.
